Call of Duty Is Reportedly Finally Coming to Nintendo Switch!!!

Want to know the latest news about video games on the Nintendo Switch?

Activision’s Call of Duty franchise will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Yep,

It’s happening,

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch. This has been said all over the internet especially if you’re a gaming enthusiast.

Video game insider Ralph [better known online as @RalphsValve] has announced that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in the near future. In the past, players have only been able to play Call of Duty titles on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.

The first Modern Warfare was released in 2007, and it became one of the most admired Call of Duty games ever. Activision remastered Modern Warfare for current-gen consoles in 2016, but Nintendo Switch wasn’t out yet at that time.

Now, Activision could be looking to bring Modern Warfare to Switch many years later since Microsoft has already expressed interest in bringing the property to Switch.

Microsoft’s President, Brad Smith says:

We’d like to bring it [Call of Duty] to Nintendo devices. We’d like to bring the other popular titles that Activision has, and ensure that they continue to be available on PlayStation, [and] that they become available on Nintendo.

If most modern Call of Duty titles can’t run on Nintendo’s platform, then only older installments in the series will have to be the ones that end up making the transition to Nintendo’s console.
