Minecraft Legends is releasing with a redefined real-time strategy-based gameplay accompanied by the allies. Here is everything you need to know.
The new Minecraft Legends 2023 is set to launch on April 18th, 2023, for all major platforms, including Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch. The game will also be a part of PC and Xbox Game Pass, making it one of the most highly anticipated games of April 2023.
Mojang Studio is bringing Minecraft Legends, the fourth game in their line that will further deviate from their famous formula. The studio began Minecraft in 2009 and has made several changes by adding dungeons and story mode. Now the game is further expanding, slightly different from the typical survival sandbox game we’re used to.
How Long Will Minecraft Legends be?
The Minecraft Legend’s Story Mode allows single-player gameplay support, and you can play with your friends in multiplayer mode. According to the game developers, the single-player story mode requires around 18 hours to complete unless you choose to explore every aspect of the game. However, it might take longer for those fond of exploring environments to achieve 100% completion.
Single Player
In the single-player mode, players can do the following activities while playing independently or with up to 3 friends to add to the campaign during the adventurous journey.
- Compile resources from the environment
- Make an alliance with new friends
- Save the overworld from the Piglins
- Develop settlements and outposts
- Join new allies in your army
- Defend your outposts and settlements against the attack of Piglin forces
- Conquer outposts and enemy fortresses
Multiplayer
The co-op mode of Minecraft shows the PVP aspects of the game. This aspect allows two teams of 4 players each to pit against each other in the adventurous world. During these face-off matches, players will have to
- Collect resources to fight against the enemies
- Raising the armies and building fortresses as a team
- Take over the enemies
The best thing about Minecraft is that it supports cross-platform multiplayer. It means the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC players will be able to play together no matter what platform they belong to.
