Prepare your Rigs for these Upcoming Games in April 2023!

This year we’ve seen a wave of classic games making their way to the new-gen graphics, including these upcoming games releasing in April 2023.

The year 2023 has surprised the gaming community with many promising releases featuring some fresh names and familiar classics. The top game releases from March feature names like Resident Evil 4 Remake and Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League.

Now the month of April is bringing some classic titles in the new-gen graphics to let us enjoy the nostalgia in UHD. In this article, The CPU Guide has compiled a list of major games in April 2023 with their release dates and platforms.

Minecraft Legends

Minecraft Legends 2023

Platforms: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, Xbox Series X, and Series S

Developers: Mojang Studios, Blackbird Interactive

Publishers: Xbox Game Studios

Minecraft is a game that is playable for every adult and child with its range of creative mods that offer a whole new experience. The new Minecraft Legends is keeping the tradition of the same old action-strategy gameplay style. The game will feature a whole new environment filled with resources to help us build the items and strategies against our enemies.

In the game, we’ll have to lead our allies by inspiring them to fight against the rise of destructive piglins to save the Overworld. Minecraft Legends will follow a co-op story mode and PvP featured with the Procedurally Generated Maps. The game is coming to a range of platforms, including Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Dead Island 2

Dead Island 2

Release Date: April 21, 2023

Platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, Microsoft Windows

Developers: Deep Silver Dambuster Studios, YAGER, Sumo Digital

Publishers: Deep Silver, Plaion

The first and probably the far most gruesome game of the year 2023, I would say, is Dead Island 2. After almost a decade-long wait, Deep Silver has finally released the game’s second version. This upcoming action role-play game has everything we can wish for in a survival action. We got customizable weapons, a range of choices for playable characters, and a vivid environment from the Hollywood hills and streets of Los Angeles.

The gruesome flesh-slashing element is new in the game, which is far more gross and realistic than the original Dead Island game. Furthermore, the game has introduced new skill cards which perform much like a small-time boost of skills to kill, smash, and slash zombies to put them out of their misery in style.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Release Date: April 28, 2023

Platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, Microsoft Windows

Developers: Respawn Entertainment

Publishers: Electronic Arts

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor continues the storyline of Cal Kestis, one of the last surviving Jedi Knights. This third-person action-adventure game is developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. The game continues the journey 5-years after the events of the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

This narrative-driven single-player RPG offers galaxy-spanning action where Cal is pushed to another edge of the galaxy by the Empire. Now he is surrounded by the threats of some familiar and unknown entities to take the stand while the galaxy is going through its darkest times. By taking full responsibility on his shoulders, the survival of his crew and the legacy of the Jedi order depends on how he makes the choices.

Conclusion

April 2023 may not seem a month packed with back-to-back game releases. However, we will see some major names that haven’t been heard in a while in the gaming community. I believe these games would be sufficient to keep us occupied for the month until we see more exciting titles coming our way this year.
