Nintendo Switch price is going down soon

Nintendo is a fairly rigid company when it comes to pricing. Its games always start from $60 and remain there forever. The same goes for its console.

Nintendo Switch launched in 2017, almost 4 years ago, and maintained its popularity and a price tag of $300. Something which even Sony/Microsoft can’t even think of for their Playstations and Xboxes.

But, this might come to an end as Nintendo is about to launch Nintendo Switch OLED model, they may slash the price of the existing Switch and Switch Lite model. According to the leaked rumors of a French site, Nintend’Alert, the price of a regular Nintendo Switch would go down to €270 from €330.

Nintendo Switch price is going down soon

Nintendo is not a company to do this kind of regional pricing, so it is highly likely that they will drop the price in other regions too. Which, if we do a little conversion and brainstorming from previous price cuts, would likely be around 250 US dollars.

If you are the one who hasn’t bought their first Nintendo Switch (highly unlikely), would you go for the OLED model for $350 or the regular model with $250 after the price cut? Is a nicer screen and sound worth $100? Let us know in the comments!
