Intel’s 12th Gen Alder Lake CPUs benchmark and Price leaked way ahead of its launch

Intel is getting a lot of hits from AMD as it is losing the war on not only multithreaded performance but also in the single-core scores. This might change with the upcoming Intel Alder Lake CPUs.

As a Persian Outlet “Sakhtafzarmag” recently leaked the benchmark and prices of the new series.

According to the leaked Cinebench R23 scores, all the latest Intel Alder Lake CPUs have better single-threaded performance as compared to their AMD counterparts. It is not a huge win as desktop workloads are utilizing more cores nowadays.

But, when it comes to the multithreaded workloads and benchmarks, Intel Alder Lake CPUs are not impressing anyone. According to the leaked benchmarks, the latest Core i9-12900KF is comparable to the AMD 5950X when it comes to multi-core scores.

So, if the single-core score is only a slight improvement and the multi-core score is a disappointment then why should anyone consider buying them once they get released. There is a reason which is price.

According to the leaked prices, the high-end Intel 12th gen Alder Lake processors can be cheaper than their counterpart AMD high-end processors by a margin of 120-180 dollars. That’s a respectable number when we consider that you would also get a bit of performance boost.

Intel Alder Lake can wear this crown of beating the price of AMD processors while still giving better performance till AMD launches its next 6000 series. What do you think, would AMD be able to beat both the performance and the price of the Intel Alder Lake processors if these leaks are true? Are you from the Red team or the Blue team?
