How to change hairstyle, color, and more of your character in Hogwarts Legacy?

In Hogwarts Legacy, players are given various options to personalize their in-game character. Upon starting the game, you will be presented with a selection of customization options that enable you to determine your gender, complexion, hairstyle, and more.

And even after you’ve made your initial selections, you can still alter certain aspects of your character such as its appearance as you progress through the game. This article will provide all the information you need to know about changing our character’s appearance in Hogwarts Legacy.

Can you Change your Appearance in Hogwarts Legacy?

Yes, you can change some aspects of your appearance in Hogwarts Leagcy as not all choices are adjustable later on. While the character creation process offers a variety of customization options, the tools available beyond this initial setup are more limited, meaning you will need to live with certain aspects of your character’s appearance that cannot be changed.

After finalizing your decision on the character creator here are the things you CAN NOT Change Later on in the Game:

  • Body shape
  • Dormitory type (Witch or Wizard)
  • Face shape
  • Skin color
  • Voice tone

And here are the things you CAN Change later on:

  • Complexion
  • Eye color
  • Eyebrow shape and color
  • Hairstyle and color
  • Voice pitch
  • Scars, markings, and other facial features such as freckles and moles

Changing Appearance in Hogwarts Legacy

Before making changes to your appearance make sure you have 20 Galleons with you as a service fee.

If you think that your character needs a new haircut or want to add or remove certain facial features then here’s what you need to do:

  1. You’ll have to wait until you receive the main quest Welcome To Hogsmeade
  2. Once you make it into town, a wide range of shops will become available to you
    shops
  3. Now you need to go to Madam Snelling’s Tress Emporium, which is found in the northwestern corner of Hogsmeade
  4. Speak with Calliope Snelling and ask to view her services

  5. Here, you’ll see a menu similar to the character creation system you initially used to create your character.
