Apple’s current Mac Pro was updated with a whole new design in 2019 with so many features like 8TTB SSD storage, T2 Security Chip, and more. It is suggested that the New Mac Pro will be fast and the company is working hard on this project.
Now Let’s see what the New Mac Pro will offer!
Main Features:
The Mac Lineup is not on the top now!
Then Who is?
Mac lineup is now taken over by the Apple silicon Processors. 10 devices of Apple are currently using the M1 processor series. Apple’s Mac Studios uses the M1 ultra and M1 max. 20 core CPUs are present in M1 ultra and the new M-series is said to have 40 CPU and 128 GPU cores.
But Apple said that in the M1 lineup, M1 Ultra is the last chip, So the 40-core chip will be part of the M2 series?
Only Apple knows!
The Current MAC Pro which Is available in the market has an Intel XEON Processor which has a range of Cores from 8 up to 28. The M1 Ultra is capable enough to Outperform the Current Mac Pro Processor which has 28 cores. The Comparision is done by Apple themselves.

Mac Pro users can put different GPUs into their current Computer. Generally, Apple offers five Different Dedicated PCI-E Models. A PCI-E Slot is available in the motherboard that users can use to add Graphic Cards, Wifi Cards, or even a Solid State Drive.
Apple Uses AMD GPUs which are
- AMD Radeon Pro 580X
- AMD Radeon Pro W5500X
- AMD Radeon Pro W5700X
- AMD Radeon Pro Vega II
- AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo
however other AMD cards can also be supported.
The external Graphics Cards are not supported by the existing Processor, the M-series, but According to MAC4ever Survey, external GPUs may be possible in the near future.
Size:
There are rumors from both Jon Prosser and Mark Gurman that the concept Apple is basically considering is quite close to what Apple launched in 2019, but a bit smaller in size. The design is somehow similar to an upscaled G4 cube-like concept that consists of a heat sink on the top and a compute unit on the bottom. But it also seems that this machine is the Mac Studio.

Still, it is not clear what kind of form it may take. But it is said that it will possibly run the M1 Ultra, two in tandem. It can also have modular use cases for its high-end users.
