Where is The Last of Us Airing Other than in the US?
The show premiers globally simultaneously but in variable schedules due to the time zone difference in the following regions.
- Australia: Every Sunday at 9 p.m. on Crave
- Canada: Every Monday at 2 a.m. on Sky Atlantic
- UK and Ireland: Every Monday at 1 p.m. on Binge and Foxtel

Where is The Last of Us Storyline Headed?
The Last of Us started as a perfect adaption of the game, with a deviated storyline ever since after the events of episode 3. If we talk about the game vs. show difference, HBO did a good job bringing our favorite characters on the reel and adding some new characters like Kathleen from episode 4.
The show brought the spotlight on the hidden stories and unanswered questions from the game, which made the show pretty exciting yet a bit unpredictable from the sets of events that took in the original game’s story. I hope that the show remains true to the original game by only amplifying the original story instead of changing the plot completely from the game.
Is it Necessary to Play the Last of Us Game to Watch the Show?
No, it’s not necessary to play the Last of Us game before watching the show. The way HBO portrays the storyline, I can say that even if you have played the game, there won’t be many spoilers, and you can still watch the show with the same suspense and hype.
In case you’re curious, HBO is adapting the storyline from the original The Last of Us from 2013, and there is a PC remake scheduled to release on March 28th, 2023, with enhanced graphics.
Final Words
The Last of US season 1 has been a super hit since its release. I’d say it’s a great way to promote the game and the TV series to get more audience from the audience at the same time. I hope the show continues to thrill according to our expectations.
