On January 11, 2023, Nexon will release a Pre-season version of its racing game KartRider: Drift for PC, iOS, and Android. The Pre-season period will include events, rewards, and other features. All progress made during this time will be carried over to the official version of the game when it is released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at a later date.
Around May 2022 KartRider: Drift, was originally intended to be a console exclusive for Xbox only. Unfortunately, the game was delayed and will now be released on multiple platforms. Microsoft has reportedly lost patience with the title, which has led to its expansion to other platforms including PlayStation 4.
Now, Nexon has also officially announced that they are not launching the KartRider drift on consoles right now. They said in the statement “Once we are ready, we will expand onto Xbox and Playstation consoles“.
The game, which is a high-quality kart racing game not developed by Nintendo, is to be released on PC, iOS, and Android on January 11, 2023, with the console versions to follow at a later date. The delay is hoped to result in a successful and well-received final product.
