The Last of Us Part 1 PC Gets Bombed with Negative Reviews

The Last of Us Part 1 remake has been released for PC, and it’s receiving a lot of negative reviews due to excessive performance issues.

The Last of Us Part 1 was initially released as a port to PlayStation 5 from the original game. Later on, Naughty Dog announced that the game would also be coming to PC, which pumped the players to get the PlayStation experience finally. After the big release, fans took Steam’s review page by storm as The Last of Us Part 1 remake received ‘mostly negative’ reviews due to constant crashes and poor performance. Out of 6,131 reviews, The Last of Us Part 1 remake received 4,146 negative reviews. The rest of the approximately 2000 positive ones were filled with sarcastic comments.

One player mentioned that the game ‘crashes every 20 minutes,’ which is a seriously concerning issue after the game got delayed from its original release date. Even the players with the most high-end builds were facing these crashes and long waited load time issues, indicating that the game developers need to take notice of the situation.

Thankfully, Naughty Dog noticed what went down and responded via their social media account that they are looking into the issues to make improvements. According to Naughty Dog, players are facing extended load time issues, unstable performance, inconsistent graphics performance, frequent in-game crashes, and the game’s inability to load despite meeting the minimum requirements. Those who are facing any different issues can submit their request on their support page.

We hope the game developers will bring a more stable patch for fixing the Last of US Part 1 remake crash issues being faced by the players. Various methods for fixing the black screen issues and frozen screen may help to proceed with the gameplay.
