Solution 1: Check Steam Server Status
Before trying anything, it is recommended to check the Steam server status.
If the servers are down then this is the main cause behind Steam Deck Not Syncing to Cloud
To confirm the server status you can go to the steamstat.us webpage to cross-check the downtime or maintenance issues
If the servers are working fine then force reboot your Steam Deck.

Solution 2: Force Reboot Steam Deck
The next thing you need to do is force reboot your console to overcome Steam Deck Not Syncing to Cloud.
Just follow these steps:
- Press and hold the Power button for at least 12 seconds
- Press the power button once to turn the console back on
- Once the console restarts try checking if your games are there

You might have disabled the Steam Cloud Synchronization feature in the past so make sure you enable it on Steam Deck.
- Press the Steam button on the Deck on the bottom-left corner of your Steam Deck.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll down and select Cloud
- And then toggle on Steam Cloud if it’s disabled
- Once done, restart the Steam Deck and check if syncing has started

Solution 5: Repair the Steam Library Folder
If the methods you tried did not resolve the issue, try verifying and repairing the game files in your Steam Library Folder. This process checks for any corrupted or missing files, which may be causing conflicts.
- Press the Steam button on the Deck on the bottom-left corner of your Steam Deck.
- Select Settings.
- Go to the Downloads tab.
- Select the Steam Library Folders button > specific game.
- Choose Repair Folder from the options menu.
- Make sure to select Yes to confirm.
- Wait for the repair process to complete and your data will be able to sync your data.
Solution 6: Contact Steam Deck Support
