Samsungs One UI 5 Is Almost Like iOS 16

Samsungs One UI 5, is ready to get public in a few weeks as the public beta testing is nearly finished according to a company press release issued today.

As Android 13 is not a major update as compared to the 12 but Samsung is adding its own perks as the One UI 5 has somehow similar features to the iOS 16 such as the lock screen, which supports new clock styles, video wallpapers, and more. You can also now edit these directly from the lock screen

Samsung says that One UI 5 has a “fresh new look and feel.”

Samsung has done a good job in copying the iOS 16 features such as “stack widgets,” which allow you to place multiple widgets in one home screen location and scroll through them.

Samsung says:

There are more wallpapers to choose from for your home and lock screens, including new color and graphic options.

One distinct feature of the One UI 5 is Bixby Text Call, which allows you to answer and communicate with a caller via text. Bixby reads your text to the person calling and, likewise, converts their voice to text. This sounds like a really cool feature and is very useful when someone needs privacy or it’s too loud.

When and on which Devices the One UI 5 be available?

According to Samsung the One UI 5 will be out there in the first week of November or so but it will release first on Galaxy S22 series and then the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4, and Galaxy S21 series, After that on the other Samsung devices.
