The Nintendo Switch Topped Console Sales once again in February

Here comes your favorite console reaching the highest sales in the recent month.

By the way, do you know Apple TV+ is coming to PS4 & PS5 with a Free trial for a limited time?

Well, now you know! Go ahead and Enjoy, Thank me Later!

Nintendo Switch sales and the company’s shares rose in February, according to new figures from market research firm NPD, Mat Piscatella. In January, PlayStation 5 sales were the highest for both units sold and revenue earned in the US.

But the Switch and PS5 kept trading places as number one throughout 2021. For example, the PS5 led in October 2021, but Nintendo regained its position in November as supplies of PS5s dwindled due to a global chip shortage.

The Switch made the most revenue through December that year. Then, when March arrived and it was time for another shake-up, the PS5 outsold both Microsoft’s Xbox Series X and the Switch. Of course, Nintendo’s switch from on-and-off-again supremacy has a lot to do with availability, the global chip shortage has made it difficult to find a PS5 or Xbox Series X without paying scalpers’ prices.

While the Switch, a now five-year-old console, has seen its sales numbers cut by 20 percent through March 2022, it’s still in no danger of going out of production any time soon. And even after Microsoft and Sony release their next-generation consoles, we’ll be able to see how well the Switch stacks up against them.

Let’s see who’s gonna get the best-selling console title next month! Stay connected.
