Starfield has been delayed again this year and is officially set to release on September 6, 2023. But why did it delayed again? Find out here.
Bethesda has delayed Starfield again this year, and the game is now set to launch on September 6, 2023, for Xbox Series X|S and PC. In the official news statement, Todd Howard from Bethesda confirmed that the game would release this year, with the official date mentioned in their announcement video.
Before the game was announced to release in the first half of 2023, which lies somewhere between January and June. Back then, the studio claimed more time requirements as they had to polish the game further for the best possible experience.
Initially, the game was set to release in November 2022, which has now been delayed for the second time. As Todd stated, the Starfield Direct is set to provide some deep insights into the game.
“There’s so much that we still have to show you. The game has many of the hallmarks that you’d expect from us, but it’s also a very unique experience.”
Despite being one of the biggest releases for Xbox, Bethesda has announced an official date, making the game more realistic. There could be a worse chance that the game might delay again if it requires more polishing. Besides Starfield, Spider-Man 2 is set to release in the fall. So, there could be a chance that both Starfield and Spiderman-2 might release in the month of September.
