Warzone 2.0 – Everything We Know

Activision brings you another great news!

First, Call of Duty returns to Steam after 5 years, starting with Modern Warfare II.

and now Warzone 2.0 is coming!

You must be wondering what Warzone 2.0 will bring?

Well, Infinity ward has revealed some details related to Warzone 2.0, being developed by both Infinity Ward and Raven Software. From the details, it seems like we are about to get a completely revamped experience of Warzone.

Here’s what we know so far about Warzone 2.0.

Release Date:

Activision gives you 2 good news this year, on June 8, Activision made an announcement that the all-new Call of Duty: Warzone^TM 2.0 is coming out later this year.

We’re ushering in a new era of #CallOfDuty, with;

The exact date is still not announced.

Warzone 2.0 will release with a brand new progression system and the Ricochet Anti-Cheat system will be active from day one.

And Warzone 2.0 will be available on

• PS4,
• PS5,
• Xbox Series X/S,
• Xbox One, and
• PC through Steam and battle.net

New Features:

Warzone 2.0 will be mostly entirely new and players won’t be able to bring anything from the old game.

• Improvements in the game’s AI mechanics can be seen and
• NPC’s actions are made more realistic.
• Improvements in water, players will be able to dive underwater and shoot enemies, and
• Improvements in vehicles, players will be able to lean out of windows to aim weapons, can be seen.
• And a brand new Sandbox mode and playspace for players to explore.

Warzone 2.0 New Map?

Call of duty has not revealed much about the map apart from this that there is going to be a new Warzone 2.0 map and rumors say that it’s going to be a lot bigger than Caldera and Verdansk.

TheGhostofHope, another well-known leaker said that the new Warzone 2.0 map will heavily take inspiration from Medellin, Colombia.

Free to Play Warzone 2.0?

You cannot pre-order Warzone 2.0 as probably it is going to be a free-to-play game. We can only assume as Warzone 1 was released digitally so Warzone 2.0 will likely be the same.

As seen from past updates, maybe you’ll be able to pre-load Warzone 2.0 onto your system. But a physical release of Warzone 2.0 just like Fortnite Deep Freeze Bundle is also possible.
