Sony Releases PS5 Themed PC Monitor!

It's highly specced, thick,
and does it justify its price?
Can it be called the best 4K Gaming Display?

Sony along Inzone releases Inzone M9 that’s a 27” 4K IPS 1ms 144Hz HDR Gaming Monitor.

A sharp-cornered LED with thin bezels and a PS5 white and black theme at its back and its stand gives the monitor a unique look. Although the Display is pretty thick.

Exceptional Quality and Speed

The display itself has a lot to offer to gamers.

INZONE M9 gaming monitor will give you outstanding picture quality with its 4K HDR IPS panel. The Display is really bright and goes up to 600 nits so you can see more detail while the Full Array Local Dimming respects the shadows and highlights. Playing in dark scenes you will realize how dark the darks are while bright areas are equally bright.

Not just quality, but gaming on this 27-inch display, you’d feel how swift and fluid your gaming gets. Firstly 144Hz makes a huge difference, along with 1ms GtG (Grey to Grey), NVIDIA G-SYNC and
Variable Refresh Rate.

One of the most responsive displays ever.

PS5 Look-a-like Stand

I am not a big fan of this stand as it blocks the monitor itself from moving freely in addition to placing any devices like stream deck in front of it. The stand also has some stability issues, but you can’t rotate it 360 degrees.

Lights & Sound

The display has a light at the back that you can adjust according to your mood and if your display is in front of a wall, you will get a really nice experience with rear lighting.

We get 2x2W speakers that just do the job and aren’t a good fit for your gaming or movies.

Eco-System

Sony calls it the perfect display for PS5 as we get:

  1. Auto HDR Tone Mapping
PS5 would recognize if it’s an Inzone gaming monitor and optimize HDR setting according to PS5 to help you see crucial details.
  2. Auto Genre Picture Mode
It automatically switches between game mode when playing games and cinema mode when watching movies.
  3. Variable Refresh Rate
HDMI 2.1 plays a key role here to avoid any lags by adjusting the display refresh rate to variable frame rates.

Ports & Connectivity

You get 6 different types of ports:

  1. Headphone Output x1 (3.5mm Jack)
  2. USB Type-A x3 (Downstream)
  3. USB Type-B x1 (Upstream)
  4. USB Type-C x1 (DP Alt Mode, Upstream)
  5. DisplayPort x1 (Ver. 1.4)
  6. HDMI x2 (Ver. 2.1)

Additionally, you are able to control two PCs from a single set of gear with a built-in Auto KVM Switch that would let a single set of keyboard and mouse control 2 PCs from a single display.

Pricing & Alternatives

This gaming monitor is priced at $899.99, is available for preorders, and starts shipping from August 7.

Now, it is pricey because of all the features Sony offers but we can find something at almost half the cost but more in value(price-wise).
