Resident Evil 4 Remake is getting its enhanced version of classic DLC Mercenaries mode for free on April 7, 2023.
Capcom has revealed a new free Mercenaries mode for the Resident Evil 4 remake, which will be available for free on April 7. The DLC announcement was released with the launch trailer of the game, which is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and Windows PC.

The Mercenaries mode gives arcade-style gameplay that allows you to navigate through particular stages involving various in-game locations. Players will also have to complete the score attack mode with a mob of enemies attacking the protagonist.
This bonus game mode was a famous part featuring combat arena stages under a countdown timer. Mercenaries’ mode gives you the challenge to make the highest score possible while facing the horde of zombies.
Players can play as various game-supporting characters, including Ada Wong, Krauser, Hunk, and Albert Wesker, and the main character, Leon Kennedy. Each character has its own style of playing and unique weapon loadouts.
Resident Evil 4 remake Mercenaries mode will be more like an expansion to bring fresh content to the game, just like new skins for Ashley and Leon, which were a part of the pre-order bonus. It would be exciting to see how this famous mode will elevate the game further with a whole new experience of intense survival horror.
