back  after  years

Noticed a change?

Logged in to your Reddit account and noticed something different in the menu?

One thing is for sure: It’s FUN!

Well, for those of you who are not daily users, go watch yourself and give your contribution.

What’s it?

The r/Place board first launched on April 1st, 2017 featured a large, white pixel grid.

Logged in Reddit users can place a tile once every 5 minutes to avoid spam. The last time it went live, it became one of the most popular things with over a million participants.

This time is no different Reddit asks us to create anything together as a community and it’s an everchanging canvas.

So many users contributed that Reddit had to DOUBLE the canvas size. Expands Every 24 hrs

People love it so much that they are asking it to happen yearly, and it really is FUN!

The community really shines here, and they have made some jaw-dropping arts that are too good to be true.

There are some annoyances as bots are not properly taken care of and kill the element of a community-made canvas.

And communities try to paint their own by destroying others’ art. Well, that may be the beauty of this board too?

This is an April Fool’s Dat initiative and will last for another 2 days until April 5th at midnight ET

What do you think?

Go check it yourself, and let us know what do you love the most?
